The second place I went today is Pashupati, one of the most significant Hindu temples in the world. It is on the Bagmati river. This is significant as the Hindus practice cremation on the banks of this river..we experienced several bodies being prepared for cremation and one actual cremation....an experience never to forget.
We saw several Sadhus..priests..I have no photos taken of them as they wantbmoney...but I copied some photos from the net..so you get the idea..they don't look like they do much but sit around and look colorful..who knows..the sights of the area was spectacular.
