I talked about the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and what the airport looks like..here it is...straight in and then an uphill grade.

I arrive in Kathmandu 10:30 pm after 28 hours in various airplanes. Now I fly to Lukla the next morning to begin the trek...the day of rest in Kathmandu is now at the end of the trip because of the concern about cancelled flights getting out of Lukla.
